Cinder City Parade

The parade was successful as usual. Four of us showed up to lead out the parade, the skies were overcast and the temp was cool, but Norbert, Allen, Les and myself did our job.

Thanks to all the parade goers that were there watching and cheering for us. We do appreciate the gratitude that people show towards veterans.

Thanks to all that were in attendance. It is great to see the community come out to support a city function.

June Post Meeting

Cinder City Days

The festivities are taking place June 9-June 12. The parade is Sat, June 11. The Altoona VFW Post will be the honor guard for the parade which begins at 1:00pm. If you would like to participate this year, meet at the post at 12:00pm. Come be part of this special day.
